Description:

The Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding program works in cooperation with Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons Resort, Deer Valley Resort and Brighton to provide quality lessons in an exceptional setting. All instructors are specially-trained in adaptive techniques for 3-Track, 4-Track, Mono-Ski, Bi-Ski and guiding skiers who are blind. Our instructors are also well-versed in techniques to teach individuals with intellectual disabilities and individuals who are deaf or hearing impaired.

The goal of the Ski and Snowboard program is to enable people with disabilities to ski and ride independently with friends and families. Our instructors provide training for friends and family in adaptive techniques, so they can assist the participant as needed. Adaptive equipment is fitted specifically for the participant prior to the beginning of a lesson. Once a participant is comfortable in or with the equipment, it may be rented out for personal use outside the program.
