The Grand Targhee Adaptive Program is designed to create ski and snowboarding opportunities for individuals with a disability or in need of special assistance. We utilize special equipment and teaching techniques to make every experience fun, successful and safe. We guarantee a one-to-one student teacher ratio for all adaptive lessons. Each lesson is built around the unique goals and needs of the student. To facilitate this, each lesson begins with a student assessment and indoor equipment set-up. This takes approximately 30 minutes and is a necessary step towards success on the snow. We recognize the important role adaptive sports can play in bringing families together.
Grand Targhee’s Adaptive Program Coordinator Tara Sanders, continues to offer a first rate adaptive program to our guests. We uniquely combine one of the most beautiful mountain environments in the Rocky Mountains with a friendly, family resort. It’s our program’s mission to provide a quality, safe experience,
