Formed in 1973, BC Adaptive Snowsports is a registered Canadian charity.
We enhance the quality of life for children, youth, and adults with physical & cognitive disabilities, their families and volunteers by providing opportunities to experience the joy, freedom, and health and wellness benefits of adaptive snowsports.
The National Capital Division (CADS-NCD) is a member organization of CADS and oversees the programs and services operating in the regions of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
CADS - ALBERTA is the provincial chapter (or Division) of The Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS). A volunteer based organization having as it's main objective, assisting individuals with a disability to lead richer and fuller lives through active participation in recreational and competitive snow skiing and snowboarding.
We are CADS - Ontario. As part of the Canadian Association of Disabled Skiing (CADS) we have over four hundred members in eight ski areas in Southern Ontario. We are a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of skiing for persons with disabilities.
CADS fosters the development and delivery of best practices through partnerships, leadership, training, and certification so individuals with a disability have the opportunity for healthy recreation and competition in alpine adaptive snowsports.
Disabled Sports USA’s mission is to provide national leadership and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence, and fitness through participation in community sports, recreation and educational programs.
Adaptive Snow Sports through Snow Sports NZ helps to remove participation barriers and encourages people with functional impairments to get involved in snow sports. Support includes assisting on mountain adaptive programmes, promotion, adaptive training for instructors and volunteers, and hosting national fun and competitive events.
