Be active, have fun, make new friends! The NSCD offers a variety of exciting winter adventures, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski biking, Nordic trips, snowshoeing and ski racing.
The mainstay of the New England Disabled Sports Winter Program is alpine skiing. Individuals with cognitive or physical disabilities who are four years or older and are able to participate. Please come and experience the thrills and independence of skiing.
With numerous adaptive Alpine skiing opportunities at mountains in the New England area, Northeast Passage’s Alpine skiing program focuses solely on the development of skiers for competition and potential Paralympic-level involvement.
Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports Centre (RMASC) is a Not for Profit Society, whose aim is to provide any individual with a disability the chance to access all sport and recreational activities in the Canadian Rockies.
STRIDE offers adaptive skiing and snowboarding lessons at three mountain resorts in the New England region: Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, MA; Catamount Mountain in Hillsdale, NY; and Ski Sundown in New Hartford, CT.
